56 Stuff presents Anxiety / Relief
Anxiety / Relief is now at 56stuff !
56 STUFF: curated online galleries, music releases, mixes and sets, videos, and so on.
"Anxiety / Relief’ is an animated diary, an animation about making of animation. This dark yet hilarious meta-animation uses some of the most essential storytelling methods: loops, exaggerations, metaphoras. A poor artist’s life is repeated on an endless loop of similar situations: no work—too much work, everything is great—nothing works, I’m the best—I’m nothing. This diary is therapeutic for all the people struggling with art. Anyone who deals with a creative work can feel related to these situations."

Yritä! Ja muita artikkeleita animaatiosta
Miksi taiteilija ryhtyisi yrittäjäksi? Miten löytää näppituntuma hinnoitteluun? Pilaako rahan saaminen taiteellisen vapauden?
Saatavilla ainakin Turun Taidemuseon putiikista!

Tuli on irti! / Fire!
The animations are projected over a scale model of Turku in the notorious year 1827 when nearly all of the city burned down. The spreading of the fire is depicted with lights and smoke, with our animations illustrating the human perspective and details from the burning houses.
Elina and Ami here on the set with musician Pekka Tuppurainen (Ilma Records). Thanks to Pekka and the staff of Heureka, especially Jouko Koskinen and Jussi Kahlos, they were fun to work with.
